A rejoinder to Fazil Cassim’s excellent observation — I have always been interested in Islamic economics and his letter (July 1) confirms what a learned Muslim in Mecca told me about Muslim banks attached to commercial banks which are interest-based.
The learned gentleman observed that we Muslims are trying to raise halaal chickens in a p.. sty.
