Are you a successful a Muslim worker? Judge yourself !!!

When asked “Are you a Muslim?”

Muslims proudly (with their heads held high) says, “Yea, I am a Muslim” rather most of them add, “I am Khan, Pathan, Syed etc etc etc…” and feel really Proud of “calling” themselves as “Muslims”.

But what makes us “Proud Muslims”? Is it the dareness of disobeying The Lord, ALLAH? Or, Is it following the Islam whole-heartedly?

We, so called ‘proud Muslims’ are in the impression of being successful even in disobedience of Allah. Do we give some patient hearing to Allah’s commandment? I am just talking about the very basic things which are obligatory (compulsory) order of our Master - Allah.

How many of us are really even performing five times salaah, which is an obligation on every Muslim, the second pillar of faith! We miss it making excuses as we are really “busy”.

“Between a man and disbelief and is forsaking salaah.” (Sahih Muslim)

Means if you are not performing salaah (namaz), then what is the difference between you and a disbeliever?

My brothers are ashamed of keeping the trouser above the ankle and my sisters are ashamed of maintaining hijab! They ignore it in the name of coolness or “liberal muslims” and simply claim that our parent gives us complete freedom and Rights to live an Independent life or rather I should say an “Ignorant Life”!!! Let me clear one thing, Islam is by ALLAH and not from Parents! And if you are so ashamed of following Islam and the commandment of ALLAH, then please don’t label yourself as “Muslims”. Because being Muslim is far far away from just being so called “proud Muslims”, so much worried about their future, carrier and everything, but what about the aakhirat?!!! Where no one neither best friends, siblings, cousins, neighbours nor parents are going to help us! The only thing which will save us from the hell-fire would be our obedience to our Lord! But still the choice is yours! Whether to achieve paradise or hell…

“And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.” (The Quran, Surah Al-An’am 6:116) In the obedience of Allah and his Messenger (pbuh) is the success.

Many of us have a misconception that being born in a Muslim family or keeping a Muslim name will be guaranteed paradise! But let me make it very clear again that ‘It is just a misconception and it is not the criteria for entering into Jannah unless we act like a Muslim!’

Muslim literally means ‘anyone that submits himself to the will of ALLAH’. Submitting oneself to the will of ALLAH is not we do things according to our will! When we wish, we do and other times we forget! A Muslim always follows the commandment of his Master. And Allah gives us the criteria of Success in Surah Al-Asr (103:1-3). He gives four points of Success. 1) Faith. 2) Righteous deeds. 3) Calling people to the truth. 4) Patience.

Only calling ourselves Muslims will not serve the purpose. The purpose is to Worship Allah in full obedience (51:56), and follow the Quran “And truly, it (this Quran) is a Guide and a Mercy for believers!” (27:77)

Allah says many times in the Quran “And whoever believes and does righteous deeds”. Only belief is not sufficient but practice is also equally important

I pray Allah to give us enough strength to believe and follow his commandments and always give first preference to his commandments.
